Amazon now offers its portable USB condenser microphone from AmazonBasics for $8.28. For Prime members, shipping is free or in orders over $25. Going at the top of the year for around $35, this model has begun to fall in price over the past few months. Now, both our previous mention and the Amazon’s all-time low are within cents. While it will certainly not provide the same quality level as a Blue USB mic, this is a great way to increase the recording capabilities of your Mac for less than $10.
Even if it’s just to improve fidelity to your call conference, it’s worth a look at today’s deal. It will work directly out of the box with Mac (also Windows compatible) and includes a 4.9-foot USB cable plus a 1-year warranty.
If you want to connect this to a new MacBook that only sports USB-C jacks, you will need some kind of adapter. At just $5, this USB-C to USB-A2-pack will do the trick. You will also have one leftover to use for other equipment or elsewhere.
