Amazon is selling the SanDisk 2 TB Ultra Portable External SSD for $249.99. This is down from its $450 selling price these days, at Amazon’s level of about $300, and is a fit for its all-time low. Whether you’re a video editor or just someone who needs to get extra storage for files, images, and films, this drive does it all. Sporting a USB-C interface, it easily taps into the new Apple laptop and iPad. In fact, it sports up to transmission rates of 550MB/s, rendering transferring information a breeze. 4.6/5 stars scored.
If it’s not necessary for you to have the bonus pace and USB-C interface, WD’s 2 TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive Elements is only $60 on Amazon. The main downside here is that instead of an SSD, it’s a revolving disk, so you’re going to lose some durability and pace. Nonetheless, this is a much more budget-friendly alternative at more than 75 percent of the SanDisk price above.
